The Abbey Museum welcomes thousands of visitors to our Medieval Festival to experience life in the Middle Ages in Europe and the Middle East, from 600 to 1600AD. A Joust Coordinator is required to assist with organising the joust volunteers in the months leading up to and at the Abbey Medieval Festival to be held on 5,6 & 7 July 2024.

The Abbey Museum is looking for volunteers to assist with the care and maintenance of the gardens and grounds. The gardens are an integral part of the Museum’s visitor experience and we need you to help to keep them looking beautiful and inviting for our patrons. You can work at your own pace and just enjoy working outdoors in a lovely environment with a bunch of friendly people. We have a great team who are welcoming to new people.

The Abbey Museum is looking for volunteers to assist with our education programs to school students and also our school holiday program activities. The Abbey Museum presents a series of programs for students including an Egyptian and a Roman archaeological dig, mummification, a medieval knight program and two heritage trails.
