Handy maintenance person is required in our Puddle Jumpers Inc. The job is to assist at our offices with our maintenance jobs which would cover, among other things, routine upkeep of the garden and shed, small odd projects, touch-up painting, simple plumbing, and/or manual labour.

Eg. Play a sport you don’t really enjoy, sing camp songs, act a little childish, all in the name of FUN!!

Drive a shower truck over designated routes in accordance with time schedules; to pick up and drop off staff/ Volunteers and participants in a safe and efficient manner. The Driver is responsible, along with the Food Hub Manager, for seeing to it that the shower truck is kept in good operating order. The driver must be a responsible person with a clean driving record and current Australian shower truck driver’s license.

The cook sets the tone for the kitchen. The kitchen is considered an important area in the camp, one which can add to the nurturing of campers in a substantial fashion. The Cook should be capable of setting a structure for the kitchen’s operation that is safe and efficient, while remaining a warm and welcoming place. The Cook/s is responsible for the efficient operation of the kitchen and delivery of meals. To ensure food handling procedures and Health & Safety are met at all times.•

A Warehouse Assistant supports the organisation by overseeing operational duties in the remit of ‘transport and logistics’. This could mean scanning materials as they arrive or leave the warehouse to maintain stock level records, moving items around from point A to B. Just assisting with the day-to-day running of a storage or logistics warehouse.

The role of family support volunteer is to ensure that children are entertained in safe environment before and after camp.

Position Objectives: * The general maintenance & support volunteer should oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the gardens & premises. * Ensure they are operation in accordance with policy and procedures, including, but not limited to; Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare (OHS&W).
