The Greenough Museum welcomes Volunteers who are enthusiastic and committed to assisting the museum to preserve, document and interpret its collections. The museum recognises the value of Volunteer work in both its day to day running and for future planning. The museum actively supports its Volunteers to provide opportunities for further skill development.

Volunteer at a stunning heritage property! Rippon Lea Estate is listed on the National Heritage Register as one of the finest examples of original suburban estate in Australia. A variety of roles are available, including house tour guides, garden tour guides, gardeners, events volunteers, ticketing and general information volunteers and house dusting volunteers.

Live on-site at the Women's Museum of Australia within the secure walls of the heritage-listed Old Alice Springs Gaol! You must have own caravan, (max 2.9m in height) with own shower and toilet. In exchange, we ask for 6 hours on a Saturday and 6 hours on a Sunday and a few hours per week of general light maintenance duties and roster cover when needed with two days per week off, usually Tuesday and Wednesday.
