The Jarrahdale Heritage Society are seeking a dynamic team member or the role of Publicity Coordinator. This position can be conducted almost entirely in a virtual or home-based capacity.

Our vision is to create an open, sustainable, community-managed and loved Museum that is enjoyed by people of all ages! The Greenough Museum welcomes Volunteers who are enthusiastic and committed to assisting the museum to preserve, document and interpret its collections. The museum recognises the value of Volunteer work in both its day to day running and for future planning. The museum actively supports its Volunteers to provide opportunities for further skill development.

The Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre (MHHC) is a state-of-the-art interpretive centre, within the grounds of St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, that tells the story of architect-priest Monsignor John Cyril Hawes. The Monsignor Hawes Museum Attendant will engage with visitors to help them appreciate the wonderful story of Monsignor John Cyril Hawes and to take the opportunity to visit the many places he built in the Midwest and Gascoyne region of WA.

The Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral is a landmark building of international importance. The story of this fabulous twentieth century cathedral has been published world-wide in a book listing 83 magnificent cathedrals from around the world. This beautiful cathedral is situated at 56 Cathedral Ave Geraldton (corner of Maitland St). It is open to the public from 7.00am until 5.30pm, 7 days a week, except Public Holidays when it's open from 9am.

Located in a beautifully restored two storey house alongside Maley's Mill, the Greenough Museum offers an insight into a bygone era. The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. The museum examines the social life of the Front Greenough Flats from Aboriginal time until today. View the historic trees and wander the community vege garden. Open daily 8.30am to 3.00pm

Volunteering experiences at the RAAFA WA Aviation Heritage Museum are certain to be worthwhile and meaningful, with flexible options to fit in with your lifestyle. The Aviation Heritage Museum is open seven days a week, 10am to 4pm, with volunteering roles available during these times, either at the museum, or the storage facility located in Willetton.

The Carnarvon Heritage Precinct are looking for someone to care take at the museum as well as looking for volunteers to help run the museum.

Volunteers are required by the Kwinana Heritage Group. For events or some open days which are held on Sundays once per month. Must have own transport as no public transport to the site.

Virtual, it would be great if the volunteer resides in the locality of Kwinana, Cockburn, Rockingham areas so regular face to face catch ups can occur.

Do you love history? The Bridgetown Historical Society is seeking volunteer Museum Attendants for the Bridgetown Police Station Museum so that we can continue showcasing the history of Bridgetown to local residents as well as visitors to our beautiful town.

Albany’s Historic Whaling Station is the home of Australia’s last whaling company, and now provides a fascinating insight into Albany’s colourful past. Recognised as a heritage site, we are an engaging and educational tourism attraction for all ages. We are on the lookout for additional volunteers to join our team.
