The Greenough Museum welcomes Volunteers who are enthusiastic and committed to assisting the museum to preserve, document and interpret its collections. The museum recognises the value of Volunteer work in both its day to day running and for future planning. The museum actively supports its Volunteers to provide opportunities for further skill development.

Gardener required for Smirks Cottage and Heritage Site Monday or Wednesday - flexible hours between 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. We are happy for whatever time you can commit. General gardening, all tools supplied.

Friends of Memorial Park and Allambie Park Cemeteries are looking for new members to assist them with their mission. Interested people could be involved in various activities from compiling guides, arranging guided tours, helping maintain the website or helping raise funds. Volunteers are also needed for busy bees at the cemeteries.

As a gardener you will be involved with the care of the Museum gardens and lawn and maintaining a good standard of presentation to visitors. Previous experience is desirable but on-the-job training will be provided.

Hannans North Tourist Mine is looking for volunteers to look after the Chinese Gardens, weeding and lawncare. Take care of small garden projects, weeding and new planting, raking and blowing pathways and general gardening maintenance.
