We need drivers to collect prepacked boxes of fruit and veg. You don't need to do every week, you will be a part of a team and can do weekly/fortnightly or monthly. At CARAD, we provide our clients with fresh fruit and vegetables on a weekly basis. Our clients are Asylum Seekers, who do not receive Centrelink, Medicare or any support from elsewhere. Through the Second Bite program, our Pantry provides food security for the most vulnerable people in our community.

Friends of Refugees Reporting to the Education Support Coordinator, and working with other child care workers, the child care worker looks after children of parents who are taking part in programs at the Friends of Refugees centre and provide fun and educational activities while parents are in an adjacent room. Children will generally be between the ages of 3 months and 7 years.

The Volunteer Tutor Program is a part of the AMEP. It offers informal language tutors to help migrants and refugees to improve their English. The Program relies on trained volunteers who work on a one-to-one basis, outside the classroom environment, either online or face to face.
