We are looking for Arabic or Rohingya speaking volunteers to provide language support to adult migrants and refugees attending our monthly Women’s Group in Zillmere. Volunteers play an important role in creating welcome, inclusion and belonging.

The program aims to assist newly arrived young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds with their school work, basic literacy and numeracy skills. Must be over 18 years of age.

We are in need of volunteers who have basic skills as a Carpenter and is willing to pass on the knowledge to refugee and migrant communities to up skill them and help them into employment. Volunteers need to be vaccinated.

The role involves leading a series of sessions teaching conversational English to adults. This is an unpaid position on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings during school terms.
