    Lauren is a lovely, easy-going lady who lives in her own Unit in Cottesloe. She is seeking someone to spend time with having a chat over coffee and perhaps doing some craftwork together. Lauren also likes visiting the zoo and loves the penguins! Lauren is in her 60’s and is quite isolated. She struggles a little with her mobility and would greatly appreciate having a friend and advocate to talk to, give gentle encouragement and assist her to get the most from life.

    Mia lives in in Wilson. She is in her early 40’s with an intellectual disability and has a visual impairment. Mia is very sociable and likes meeting new people. She loves music and dancing and enjoys going out for lunch and coffee. An advocate could accompany Mia on outings and help build her confidence. Her visual impairment limits going out alone, and she would appreciate having a friend with her. Mia wants to retain her independence socially and feel connected with the community.
