Our Starting Over Support (SOS) team are in much need of Drivers and Driver Assists to help us deliver household goods and furniture to community members who are moving from crisis situations such as homelessness, domestic violence and more.

CUDL urgently requires cooks to prepare meals at home for distribution at our street kitchen in Whitmore Square in the city. Volunteers will prepare budget meals at home once a month for collection by one of our team of drivers. Meals will go to the growing number of people in Adelaide experiencing homelessness who, otherwise, would go hungry.

You'll be welcomed into the supersized commercial kitchen. You'll get busy in the kitchen transforming rescued food into nutritious meals, that will be delivered to disadvantaged communities.

Andy's Place operates a drop-in center every Thursday morning from 8 to 11 am for vulnerable and homeless people in Brisbane City. We are looking for an additional supervisor to volunteer on 1 Thursday morning a month from 7.30 to 11.30 am to set up tables, chairs, and breakfast, and supervise 2-3 volunteers.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping St Mary’s House of Welcome (SMHOW) achieve its mission and provide invaluable support across many areas of the organisation. Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.
