CUDL urgently requires cooks to prepare meals at home for distribution at our street kitchen in Whitmore Square in the city. Volunteers will prepare budget meals at home once a month for collection by one of our team of drivers. Meals will go to the growing number of people in Adelaide experiencing homelessness who, otherwise, would go hungry.

This role will take responsibility for overseeing the deliveries and food collections including responsibility for food safety The role involves overseeing a team of volunteers who will pack, unpack food and may need to re-pack food into smaller units. Must also oversee the record keeping of volumes of food handled

St Brendans provides 2 course hot lunch and shower facilities to the homeless every Friday at the Guide Hall, Watts Road Safety Bay from 11am-2pm. Volunteers can help set-up and prepare meals from 9.30am-11.30am or serve and pack-up from 11.30am-1.30pm.

The Hedland Homeless Breakfast Program is an essential service operating Monday to Friday 7.00am-9.30am at the South Hedland Sobering Up Centre in South Hedland. New Homeless Breakfast Program volunteers are always most welcome! Volunteers of any age accepted (even under 16yrs).
