Join our enthusiastic team of volunteers at Coast Shelter, to meet new people, have fun and help us serve our local people in the community doing it tough through volunteering as a Kitchen Hand at Coast Shelter. We currently have volunteer opportunities available during week days within the Coast Community Centre teams. ***To be referred to this role an interview with Volunteering Central Coast is required. You will be contacted soon to arrange a mutually convenient time and place. ***

St Brendans provides 2 course hot lunch and shower facilities to the homeless every Friday at the Guide Hall, Watts Road Safety Bay from 11am-2pm. Volunteers can help set-up and prepare meals from 9.30am-11.30am or serve and pack-up from 11.30am-1.30pm.

This is an opportunity to get to know our service and see the benefit of donations the community share with us in their drive to support disadvantaged or struggling families as well as the organisation. Donations come in from the community to stock out crisis accommodation properties with household items and what we don't use there we sort for our thrift shop.
