Every night, up to 900* people sleep rough in Perth’s inner city, with over 9,000 people experiencing homelessness across WA. We work to support people on their journey out of homelessness. Our outreach, crisis support and accommodation teams assist people with their needs and support them to access the services that are right for them at any stage in their journey. Volunteers help us to reach more people experiencing homelessness.

Prepare home-style lunch meal for approximately 25-30 people. To oversee the operating of the kitchen with other volunteers. Needs to start at 07.30am and goes through to 1.00 pm

St Brendans provides 2 course hot lunch and shower facilities to the homeless every Friday at the Guide Hall, Watts Road Safety Bay from 11am-2pm. Volunteers can help set-up and prepare meals from 9.30am-11.30am or serve and pack-up from 11.30am-1.30pm.

Are you a qualified podiatrist, masseuse, physiotherapist or dentist with a couple of hours per month to spare? St. Patricks are looking for volunteers to work with homeless people at their health and oral health clinics which are run in the mornings Monday to Friday.

Can you help support our programs by volunteering in the St Pats Community Store. A low cost/no cost store for people who are homeless/risk of homelessness/concession card holders and the general public. The store stocks everything from food and toiletries to bedding and clothing.

Can you help support our programs by volunteering in the St Pats warehouse. Join a friendly team of volunteers for a fun Monday morning sorting through the donations given to St Pat’s by our very generous community. Meet other volunteers and help the community through your volunteering. The clothing donated to St Pat’s is either given to people who are experiencing homelessness or in need or sold at our Op Shop which directly funds our Centre.

The South Hedland Soup Kitchen is an essential service operating Monday to Friday 4.00pm-5.30pm at the South Hedland Sobering Up Centre. New Soup Kitchen volunteers are always most welcome! Please contact us to arrange an induction and paperwork so that we can help get you started and a part of our volunteer team!

The Hedland Homeless Breakfast Program is an essential service operating Monday to Friday 7.00am-9.30am at the South Hedland Sobering Up Centre in South Hedland. New Homeless Breakfast Program volunteers are always most welcome! Volunteers of any age accepted (even under 16yrs).
