The role of the volunteer is to provide support to patients aged 0 to 12 years and their families in consultation with the senior nurse (shift leader) in paediatric wards, day stay and outpatient clinics at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children in Garran.

VollieCare are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team in the Flinders Medical Centre, Paediatric Ward! 🌟 What You'll Do: • Collaborate with nursing staff to create a caring environment for our young patients. • Assist the Diversional Nurse with fun and creative activities for small groups or individual children. • Spread smiles by operating the VollieCare Fun and Refreshment Trolley.

Radio Lollipop's amazing volunteers provide care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children in hospital. You too can add some fun and laughter into a child's stay at hospital, brighten their road to recovery, and all as part of a wonderful team. A one-year commitment is required, consisting of a weekly 2.5 - 3 hour shift. PCH provides the unique opportunity to work on the radio, with volunteers rotating between broadcasting and interactive play on the ward.
