We have an opportunity for people to be a part of the Volunteer Gardening Program within the grounds of the COUCH Cancer Wellness Centre in Cairns. A great opportunity to have a horticultural experience whilst maintaining the tranquil grounds of the Centre. You will be a part of a Gardening Team at our Cancer Wellness Centre, maintaining the tranquil space that supports the well-being of our clients, families, and carers.

Hands on garden and maintenance person's required to work a few hours each week. Doing odd jobs, building maintenance, no list of set tasks, 3 acres of gardens with a potting shed, fruit trees and ponds and lawns.

Volunteers are required to assist with gardening duties in the Wesley Kids garden area. This area is used for activities with children, outdoor eating and relaxing, and includes a small herb garden.

The Parkland Residential Aged Care Volunteers offer support and companionship to 70 residents so they live a meaningful and dignified life. #seniors#aged care#companionship#art and craft#reading#puzzles
