The group is a safe space for to help participants to share their experiences of living with chronic pain, promoting self-management techniques, reducing isolation and assisting with health system navigation.

In this role, you will facilitate a community group on a monthly basis, creating a safe and inclusive social network in the Tecoma to Knox Region. Experience with chronic pain or a chronic health condition is an advantage. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month in the Tecoma Uniting Church.

The co-facilitator of a pain support group (PSG) for Bundaberg region helps the group to: share their experiences of living with chronic pain, educate the group about self-management techniques and to effectively use healthcare settings. The PSG provides an avenue for people with pain to socialise with others and reduce the isolation of chronic pain. The group meets once a month for 1.5 to 2 hours.

APMA is seeking someone looking to expand their skills as a professional workplace trainer. You will be responsible for the delivery of an existing, structured course to participants. You will also help develop and coordinate training, in addition to this. Willing and able to complete general office duties, 1-2 days per week.
