The Clinic Outreach Volunteer is a pivotal role designed to promote the My Eyes service directly to patients at local eye injection clinics. The My Eyes service offers essential post-clinic support for people living with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) by providing guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance to navigate their diagnosis and everyday challenges.

The Macular Disease Foundation of Australia (MDFA) is the national peak body representing the macular disease community.  Our four pillars of work include:  prevention and early detection, supporting the community to live optimally with macular conditions, systemic advocacy and research.  There are an estimated 1.4m Australians with some evidence of age-related macular degeneration, which is the most common macular disease.

We are looking for admin to be the supportive force that empowers our senior leadership. The ideal person for the job will be a energetic problem solver with good communication skills and a knack for detail.
