Help facilitate play, activities and distraction for patients, siblings and visitors at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Join our volunteer team to provide moments of happiness and social connection in the hospital environment.

The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.

The Social Connection Volunteer will support people who feel isolated in building social connections within the local community.

You will be matched with families and tasks based on your experience, skills and interests and the family’s needs. We would like you to commit for 12 months and to be flexible when volunteering.
