Each month the Albany CWA have a fundraising stall at the CWA Monthly Markets. Volunteers are needed to knit, crochet, sew and/or bake items to be sold on the stall. Other crafts (weaving, tatting etc.) also welcome. CWA will provide materials in consultation with the volunteer. If you would like to help with your crafty ability they would love to hear from you. The work could be completed in your own home.

Ronald McDonald House North Fitzroy located at the historic Casa Elda Vaccari (a former light rail substation) caters to the growing need for regional, rural and interstate families to have access to safe and reliable accommodation in central Melbourne while their child undergoes treatment in the city. Retaining lots of its original character, our House has been converted into a purpose-built accommodation facility for up to 25 families a night.

Puddle Jumpers is a children's charity that provides emergency food assistance to around 1000 households a week at 7 different locations. We are looking for volunteer Cooks to help prepare 200-400 meals for those that need it most! Every SATURDAY from 9am till 3pm - COOKING, PREPPING, PUTTING FOOD INTO CONTAINERS, CLEANING & SENDING FOOD TO HEAD OFFICE AND PLACED IN FRIDGES. All food prepared is refrigerated or frozen and given out to the families.

Volunteer needed to assist in the delivery of the Building blocks play group location in Kings Park. Building Blocks is a supported playgroup for young or first time parents (15-25 years) to connect, make new friends, have fun and learn about parenting in a relaxed place.

Albany CWA are looking for a volunteer gardener to complete small projects in their garden as the need arises. The work should take 2 to 3 hours when needed. If you have a green thumb and a couple of hours to spare, the CWA would love to hear form you.
