The volunteer will support the group facilitators with the weekly hosting of parent gatherings. This group aims to engage isolated families and encourage network building! Wednesdays from 9.30am-10.30am. We do ask that volunteers can commit to the role for 6 months or longer.

As an Operating Theatre Recovery volunteer, you will work closely with staff to support the post-anaesthetic care of patients by providing comfort, as well as reconnecting and regulating caregiver visits. Volunteers also support the Queensland Children’s Hospital Recovery staff by answering the phones and maintaining comfort supplies.

We are looking for Volunteers to join our existing force of 'Everyday Super Heroes' as a Weekend Warrior, at our Townsville House. In this volunteer role, you will be the face of the organization and the first point of contact for our families, volunteers, donors and visitors who walk through our doors during weekend hours and provide support in the event of an emergency.
