Additionally, our President is allergic to dust and can't let too much dust pile up or else she gets sick. We need help with this so that the facility is spotless for those inspections and also for visitors who expect that a wildlife hospital is always in pristine condition!!

Your gardening experience, or your willingness to learn new gardening skills, will be greatly appreciated in this role. You'll be working outdoors in a beautiful setting: planting, weeding, pruning and mulching as well as other garden related activities. Days and hours are negotiable to suit your schedule. EMS Snorkel Guides volunteer at weekend community snorkels or weekday school snorkels, starting as a trainee snorkel guide assistant, helping the lead snorkel guide in the water with small groups. Free accredited training in 'Lead Snorkel Activities' is available for volunteers who wish to gain more experience and become a Lead Snorkel Guide. Snorkels take place at various locations along the Adelaide coast as well as regional areas in SA.

Containers for Change is the 10c refund recycling scheme that has been introduced to Western Australia. The Care for Hedland depot receives eligible recyclables for the Hedland region, keeping them out of landfill. In this role you will be sorting and counting eligible drink containers and providing refunds to customers. The depot received both small and large returns of containers so extra hands to help sort, count and serve the community are always welcome.
