  3. Barker Inlet Wetland planting activity

    Come along and join Conservation Volunteers to bring back the locally extinct Yellowish Sedge Skipper by restoring vulnerable Gahnia filum habitat at the Barker Inlet Wetland. These planting event will run on the 2nd and the 9th of July, with the aim to plant 600 – 700 gahnia filums. All are welcome. Equipment and planting training will be provided.

The Care for Hedland depot receives eligible recyclables for the Hedland region, keeping them out of landfill.
