Community Nursery Assistants support the propagation of local provenance native plants for re-vegetation of the local environment within the City of Greater Geraldton. Many and varied tasks are available, depending on the time of season. Duties include seed collecting, seed sorting, decontaminating benches / pots, pricking plants and propagation. The Helena River Catchment Group undertakes landcare and river rehabilitation projects on the Helena River and throughout the catchment. The small group of active volunteers is currently recruiting new members to build capacity for more landcare projects and to fill committee roles, particularly for the position of Secretary.

Do you like being outdoors in the bush? Come and assist Susannah Brook catchment Group with their re-vegetation program and see the amazing results”. Several helping hands are needed to re-vegetate a weedy reserve for the return of local native vegetation. We require planters and weeders to continue our revegetation work in The Susannah Brook Reserve.
