Could you: * "man the desk" * answer the phone * assist with sales & library/loan duties * general housekeeping * & guide people around the Centre? You will already have the skills to fix one or more of the following: * electrical/electronic/mechanical items * clothing/bedding/other * textiles, jewellery, toys, woodwork, metalwork, bicycles, * and/or other general items You will be able to provide advice to visitors about whether specific items * can be fixed & the parts needed.

Friends of Banksia Park Volunteers are required to show some tender loving care to park trees at Banksia Park in Normanville and assist with replanting.

The Nixon Skinner Conservation Park comprises of 8 hectares of native vegetation and is situated towards the southern end of the Myponga Reservoir. The park is an island of native vegetation in a picturesque setting, framed by the Myponga Reservoir and pine plantations. Working bees are held on the first Friday of each month commencing at 9.00 am.

EMS Snorkel Guides volunteer at weekend community snorkels or weekday school snorkels, starting as a trainee snorkel guide assistant, helping the lead snorkel guide in the water with small groups. Free accredited training in 'Lead Snorkel Activities' is available for volunteers who wish to gain more experience and become a Lead Snorkel Guide. Snorkels take place at various locations along the Adelaide coast as well as regional areas in SA.

Reserve Hosts stay onsite on reserves for 1 – 2 weeks to support visitors and guests and act as a friendly, informative, and helpful face of Nature Foundation on our Reserves.

Hooded Plovers are small coastal shorebirds. Listed as vulnerable nationally, there are less than 800 of these birds in South Australia with only 22 breeding pairs found on the Fleurieu Peninsula. There are multiple ways that you can assist to protect these birds. Fleurieu Hoodie Helpers are needed to monitor a given pair of birds on a particular beach and report sightings of bird behaviour.

Our reservoir reserves are home to beautiful landscapes and unique flora and fauna. Join a group of like-minded people and help nurture these special places. You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors.
