Formed in 2016, our volunteers get to experience a beautiful ever-changing view and lovely breezes while they contribute their time in the garden beds. Meeting on Tuesdays the Sandpipers work along the Esplanade, Pioneer Cemetery and other high-profile green spaces in the CBD to support Council in keeping our gardens looking spick and span. The Sandpipers group volunteers on Tuesday mornings from 9am to noon.

One of the most important jobs we have here at the frog hospital is washing up! We need someone to wash all our items in simple cleaners and most of our components are plastic or ramekins. There are some glass aquariums for any big strong fellas that turn up! Attention to detail is important for this task and it goes by faster if participants are in pairs.

Our organisation runs out of a house on an acreage property and is subject to real estate inspection every three months. Additionally, our President is allergic to dust and can't let too much dust pile up or else she gets sick. We need help with this so that the facility is spotless for those inspections and also for visitors who expect that a wildlife hospital is always in pristine condition!!

We are presently in an urban setting and need to clean up the weeds, mow the lawn regularly and try to enhance the property with shrubs to bring some nature to this bland backyard.

Our organisation runs out of a house on an acreage property and we have a special arrangement in place to try keep the rent down and hence are looking out for volunteer handyman's. There are tasks we have promised to do here which are simple repairs and painting - if we don't complete them, the rent will go up.
