Our Cadet Program runs from April to October each year. It is open to kids between the age of 12 - 16. Cadets are trained in various facets of Firefighting and other skills. Teamwork and Communication are a big part of this program and we have had many of our Cadets stay on after turning 16 to become Active Volunteer Firefighters. Cadets may also have the opportunity to go on Camps run by the Brigade, DFES also give Cadets opportunities to go on camps.

We are looking for support members who may be interested in helping out with administration, fundraising, maintenance of vehicles, equipment and the surrounds of the fire station, cadets program or arranging social activities. You dont need to do all of this, get involved with what interests you.

Australind SES are a team of dedicated volunteers who respond to natural hazards such as storms, floods, cyclones, and earthquakes, and assist with land searches, vertical rescue and fire ground support. The Grants & Fundraising Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial sustainability and growth of Search Dogs Sydney Incorporated by identifying, securing, and managing grants and fundraising opportunities. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to diversify funding sources and maximise revenue to support our mission and programs.

St John's Phone Coordinators work as part of a rostered team. While on shift, Phone Coordinators are responsible for dispatching the local volunteer ambulance crew as required. Phone Coordinators do not take 000 calls, but are contacted by the central St John's Communications Team with relevant information for incidents.

St John is looking for local legends to support their regional communities as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. This role involves attending emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls, as well as other duties as required. All training provided.
