SES provides a wide range of services to help cope with the effects of natural disasters - from emergency repairs on houses and building buildings, to restoration of essential services.

  7. Volunteer Ambulance Officer

    Are you interested in clinical and community based volunteer work? Are you over the age of 18 & physically fit? Volunteer with your local sub-centre as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. Attend emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls as well as other duties as required. Commitment is approx 60 hours annually, based on 1 shift plus training per month. To continue to operate in your role, you must maintain the competencies required & appropriate level of fitness as roles are physically demanding.
