  1. Learning Assistant - All Abilities Group

    Seeking a volunteer to assist our Trainer and Students during their 'Digital Stories and Creative Arts' course. The course is delivered to participants aged 20-60yrs who require varying degrees of assistance. Some students have individual carers with them and others do not. The course runs on Fridays (9.30am-2.45pm) during the school term at Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre. Classroom experience is not essential as the Trainer will happily guide you in the activities.

  2. EAL student needs help with scribing in class.

    We need a volunteer to scribe for an older student in an EAL class. This class is our highest level class, and this student has excellent spoken English and comprehension. Unfortunately she had a stroke several years ago which has affected her ability to use her writing arm, but not her ability to speak or understand.
