The Knox Toy Library Inc provides the perfect alternative to buying a room full of toys that are no longer played with. But we need some volunteers to help us with our Friday and Saturday borrowing sessions.

Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House is looking for volunteers who can read with students, help with their homework, run games or activities (sport, art, music, science etc) or even just help prepare healthy snacks. Our homework club works with primary school children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Sunshine, Albion and surrounding suburbs to support their learning and confidence.

The primary aim of the program is to provide a supportive environment where children can receive individual tutoring for basic literacy and numeracy skills and/or assistance with homework tasks (e.g. reading). The tutor works one to one with a Year 3-8 student every Wednesday afternoon during the school terms. Tutor will need to be available during 3.15pm to 6pm.

Volunteer with Kids First in one of our wonderful not-for-profit Early Years kindergarten centres! Volunteers provide operational support and assist in the delivery of the unique Early Years program, including assisting with specific activities with the children such as reading/ storytelling, singing, art, craft, or outdoor play. ***LOCATIONS: Ivanhoe, Bundoora, Reservoir, Lalor, Epping, Wollert, Wallan, Seymour, Clyde North
