This important volunteer role will help the Cowboys Community Foundation raise vital funds needed to deliver education-based programs across North Queensland, including NRL Cowboys House. An exciting opportunity exists for you to volunteer to assist us in running a Road Safety Program called ‘bstreetsmart’ at Qudos Bank Arena from 20-22 August 2024. Year 10 to 12 school students aged 16 –18 will attend the event with the aim to decrease road trauma in this age group. Volunteers will be required for ushering, crowd management, information relay, and safety officers

Guide Dogs Qld are hosting the Cairns Canine Carnival – a great day out for all ages (dogs included) with dog training and agility demonstrations, market stalls, kids activities and food trucks. We need volunteers to help support various roles within the Carnival such as merchandise stall, logistic set up, gate takings, general venue support.

Intermediate Emergency Care Provider Being the person or persons to respond to any medical/first aid needs off and on the track during a race meeting. These race meetings are held during the weekend. Some are two day events.
