Fresh Start is a not-for-profit addiction and substance use disorder recovery program that is looking for 4 volunteers to help with food distribution (wait staff) at the End of Financial Year Fundraising Event “Raising for Recovery”. This event is to raise funds so Fresh Start can continue their work in supporting thousands of people and families in their addiction recovery journey and create awareness and a platform for advocacy.

We are currently looking for Parent Peer Volunteers to facilitate family peer support groups to parents and families in the following areas: Mandurah, Fremantle, Thornlie, East Perth & Midland.

MUST BE A PARENT OF A CHILD WHO HAS OR HAD DRUG AND ALCOHOL ISSUES. Supporting and mentoring parents of children with drug and alcohol issues.

The Family Drug Helpline provides information, support and referrals to people who have someone in their life using alcohol or other drugs. The helpline is staffed by volunteers. THIS IS A PEER SUPORT ROLE, filled by people who have personal experience of being impacted by someone’s substance use. This lived experience is the key selection criteria.

We are looking for volunteers in the role of Support Worker. The role requirement is to help facilitate and engage in the group program for people whose lives have been impacted by drug and or alcohol addiction.

We are currently looking for Parent Peer Volunteers to facilitate family peer support groups to parents and families. You may also be interested in providing telephone support to parents calling the service in distress on our telephone roster, As our service provides Peer Support, IT'S ESSENTIAL you have lived experience in this area.

Volunteer Gardener and general maintenance, trade skill and OH&S experience would be an advantage.

Fresh Start is a not-for-profit addiction and substance use disorder recovery program that is looking for reliable, efficient and easy-going people, that are available as soon as possible on Wednesdays from 3pm until 6pm from Feb 9th until March 15, and enjoy cooking a variety of healthy home cooked meals, for our residents who are in the early stages of recovery and detoxification. The power of a home cooked meal is soul warming and can make our clients feel safe and comfortable.

We seek an Education Workshops Coordinator to manage, coordinate and plan logistical, resourcing and reporting requirements for all our education workshops. (C)
