Join Lifeline WA in our mission to combat loneliness and social isolation in older aged individuals by establishing and maintaining meaningful friendships and companionships. You will visit older aged persons in their own homes or Aged Care facilities on a regular basis to promote their health and wellbeing.

The purpose of our Home Visit service is to reduce the social isolation of our clients who may be feeling disconnected from their community. Shopping Support Volunteers are needed. There are older people in our community who need the support of a friendly, caring and reliable person to assist them with their grocery shopping. A lovely older lady would like a volunteer to visit her on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for around an hour on a weekly basis either chatting over a cuppa, or going for a drive (she will drive her car) to the shops or the beach. MCCI supports older people from multicultural backgrounds. Our Volunteer Drivers provide door to door transport for clients attending MCCI social support groups. Normal car licence only required. Full training provided.

An older man living in his own home would like you to visit him. You must be able to converse in Greek and can play board games, chat about Greece and other places of travel, or go for a walk together. Approximately an hour a fortnight or weekly at a time to suit both of you.

Events and Festivals We have many annual, as well as one off events that we need volunteer participation. eg; Australia Day Event etc.
