Drought Angels is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist us at Groundwater Country Music Festival. As a Charity Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in supporting Drought Angel's charitable initiatives by: • Sell and actively promote merchandise at market stalls • Collecting donations from eventgoers • Promoting awareness of Drought Angels. We need your help on Saturday 11 May in Brisbane to make a difference for Ukrainians displaced by war. Walk My Way Ukraine is a charity walking event in Brisbane, starting and finishing at QUT Gardens Point Campus. We need help with setup, registration and marshalling along the walking course. Setup starts from 10am, registrations open at 11:30am and the walk will operate from 1pm-5pm. A few hours of your time will make a big difference for Ukrainian children and families displaced by war.

In time of natural disasters impacting the Sunshine Coast region, Volunteering Sunshine Coast, with the Sunshine Coast regional Council, provides critical support to the local community with disaster recovery efforts. If you have an interest in being part of a dedicated team supporting people in times of need you can volunteer as a Disaster Recovery Volunteer.

At the direction of the Team Coordinator, the Team Leader supervises Spontaneous Volunteers for disaster relief activities to support and assist homeowners or tenants to clean up after a disaster.

Volunteers required to support the operational activities as directed by the OSU Group Duty Officer. This is a support role and can be undertaken by firefighting and non-firefighting personnel.
