Do you have a woodwork background with some mental health training and group work experience? If so this is a unique volunteer role that could lead to some paid work also. The Workbench program offer a psychosocial based Day-2-Day support program, which gives individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis, the ability to participate in supported social groups with semi-structured activities. A trade background or previous experience in woodwork is required.

Join our team of friendly, supportive staff & volunteers in our recreational programs for children, teenagers & adults with a disability, on weekends & during school holidays. Volunteers work alongside Support Workers to encourage, motivate and engage young participants in our after school programs. Weekly or fortnightly times available. Most activities are 2 - 4 hours.
