Group experiences include After School Activities, School Holiday Activities and other activities as planned.

The Roundabout Project is a volunteer peer support project that aims to assist participants with Disability to engage with our LGBTIQA+ community encouraging networking and connections. Or would you like to just assist in the docking area, loading and unloading people with a disability into boats, and not do the sailing part of it? People are required to assist current volunteers, to help people with a disability to enjoy sailing in a friendly supportive environment. Help is needed to enable people with a disability to learn and develop new skills that only sailing can give them.

Assist a young person with a disability to access recreational activities for a few hours or one day on a regular basis, at least once each month.

Peer support occurs when people with similar life experiences provide knowledge, experience, emotional, social or practical help to each other. VALID’s Peer Action Groups (PAG’s) provide an opportunity for people with disabilities to meet on a regular basis in their local community. PAG’s share information and knowledge, providing mutual support to engage in activities and projects that go on to build a more inclusive community.
