On Sunday 11 August Muscular Dystrophy will stage Run for Strength - a fun run/walk around Princes Park. We need volunteers to act as marshalls around the course making sure participants dont go the wrong way. It is an easy job but one that is crucial to the success of the event. Abbeyfield Garran is a not for profit which provides affordable, inclusive, homelike and safe accommodation for people with a mild cognitive disability where residents can maintain their independence with dignity and choice. The Garran house is run by a volunteer management committee and employs a housekeeper to provide meals and support the residents on a day- to-day basis. We have 10 young adult residents.
