VA is seeking volunteers who can assist with recreation programs being conducted in Hallam on Thursdays from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.. The role involves clients with varying vision loss and the program is designed to provide social and recreational opportunities.

This position is on a group bus service to help people maintain access to community and social events that are important to Seniors. We would love to hear from community minded, friendly people keen to support this great service.

The Volunteer Driver is responsible for the transportation of Beyond Blindness Members to various services offered by the organisation including social groups, bus trips and occasional medical/shopping trips and can include one-on-one social time. Volunteers are welcomed as part of the small team in the southern area. All volunteers are given training to assist blind persons. The Volunteer Driver will be required to use their own vehicle which will need to have comprehensive insurance.

Our Day Club provides interests for both our long term clients and those requiring respite. Activities are designed to keep clients interested and active but do require a number of assistants to help each of the clients involved.

TransitCare is an innovative not-for-profit organisation dedicated to assisting our clients to remain active in the community and live independently in their own homes. We achieve this through the provision of shared pre-booked transport and social support programs for people with disabilities; and older members of our community. TransitCare require an Administration Assistant to assist with answering calls and arranging drivers to do pick ups and conduct basic office tasks. #Admin #YouthVo
