The Woodwork Shed in our Community Activity Centre in Victoria Park is a space for clients with low or no vision to learn skills and complete woodworking projects with the guidance and support of our wonderful volunteers. We're looking for volunteers with a background in woodwork or manual arts to build share your skills and build rapport with our clients to help them achieve a sense of independence and achievement through the completion of their project. The volunteer Facilitator is charged with connecting the groups on a regular connection schedule, promotes positive communication between the participants and adds to the discussion.
