As well as information and advice, therapy and equipment, we provide family activities to enable families to get out of their home and meet other families. The Telelink program provides special interest group discussion's for blind and low vision people all the way around Australia to interact with one another via phone with a volunteer facilitator. The connection volunteer is charged with connecting the groups on a regular connection schedule.

Down Syndrome Queensland (DSQ) is organising for our young adults with Down syndrome to attend our Challenge Weekend Camps throughout the year and require volunteers to assist us with this event. There are multiple opportunities throughout the year: we will require the volunteers to be available from 3pm Friday to approximately 12pm Sunday. Dates range however camps are usually held in March and November.
