    One of our friendly residents is looking for a Companion who speaks Italian. If you speak Italian, can spare some time and used to interact with Seniors, this is an opportunity for you to enrich their lives. You will be required to visit once a week. We are currently looking at a number of innovative ways to continue to keep our residents and customers active, socially engaged and connected with the wider community.

    Inclusion Melbourne is funded to provide the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Our volunteers share stories, go for a stroll, have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game with their match. Volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship. Fully covid vaccinated, influenza vaccinated and a minimum 12 month/ongoing commitment is also required.

    The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) provides FREE social support to elderly people in Sydney. We seek an English Speaking Volunteer to contact an elderly person via telephone calls, mail or post card during the lockdown and then face to face visit can start at the client's home once all the restrictions are lifted. The minimum contact is one hour per week. Your help will significantly reduce the client's isolation and increase his/her quality of life.
