RDA is a voluntary organisation providing equine-assisted activities for people with disabilities to develop and enhance abilities through programs such as riding, dressage and carriage driving. Horses provide vital mental and physical stimulation for our disabled participants, improving their confidence, increasing their autonomy and delivering immeasurable amounts of pleasure. There are many and varied opportunities for volunteers at our centre.

Northreach Baptist Church is a family community church who is seeking a Groundsman/Gardener to assist in keeping their grounds and gardens clean and tidy for all to enjoy. Garden experience will be welcomed, but training and orientation and will be provided. #groundsman#gardener#gardens#mowing

We need a handy person with a green thumb to maintain our facilities here at Gailes Community House. We are a small neighbourhood centre based in an old housing commission house with some lovely hedges and gardens that need some tendering every now and then. The gardens make Gailes Community House a welcoming space. We also have occasional maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, fixing cupboards, tables etc.

If you're motivated and physically fit, join our cleaning and gardening team. You may also be asked to ride with our deliveries team.

FoodFilled is seeking passionate volunteers to help with food deliveries! Flexible commitment, just once a fortnight and takes approx 1 hour! Pickups mostly located in Melbourne’s South East. Volunteer shift involves driving to pick up leftover/excess food from retailers (e.g. supermarket/bakery) and delivering it to a local charity, saving valuable food from ending up in landfill and providing immediate relief for those experiencing food insecurity. Own car required.

The Traralgon Neighbourhood Learning House operates a Learning Garden at the VRI Hall 18-20 Queens Parade Traralgon. This garden, used in teaching programs, is manned by local volunteers who will make you very welcome. Hours are very flexible and we welcome and support volunteers meeting Centrelink Mutual Obligation targets. You will also be assisting in sustainable production of vegetables and flowers to support the local community.

Eastlakes Salvation Army in Belmont North is seeking kind and hardworking individuals to join our team as Volunteer Gardeners. 🌿🌼 Eastlakes is a warm, welcoming, and community-minded church in Belmont North. With Café 360 open 3 days a week, a community pantry, play groups and support groups happening all through the week, everyone is welcome and our car park and grounds are very busy.
