Red Cross Shops sell new and donated clothes, accessories, and homewares to raise funds to help people in need. Each year, we rescue 2,750 tonnes of clothing from landfill, give opportunities to 5000 volunteers, and generate funds to help Red Cross support vulnerable people in Australia and around the world. The proceeds from the sale of items support the vital everyday work of Red Cross, providing relief in times of crisis and care where it's needed most.

Sunday 21st April 2024 A family-friendly, fun-filled morning requires no special skills, experience, or training – just your presence and enthusiasm. Would you like to learn skills in assisting in setting up an event site for a major fundraising event, while supporting Dementia Australia to raise important funds that support individuals and families living with Dementia. The event also helps build awareness and education about Dementia in the wider community. Volunteers are needed for 3 hours from 12pm on Saturday the 20th of April at the Ballarat Lake Wendouree Gardens.

Our lawn mowing assistant role involves supporting refugee families who have just arrived in Australia. It includes visiting homes around the Corio/Norlane area of Geelong and mowing lawns. We offer this service for a limited period of time, whilst the family are settling into life in Australia and learning skills which they may not have ever had the need to do.
