We are urgently seeking volunteers who are happy to help with functions and events. Events include our Old Style Dance, Morning Melodies, Regular Munchys - our Sausage Sizzle Style event, and varied other special events and private hire functions. We need Volunteers for set up, pack down for functions as well assistance with kitchen, wait staff, admission staff, baristas and bar staff. We are happy to provide training in these areas, just need nice people willing to help and learn.

Burnie Brae Centre is a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to build strong community connections by providing quality health, lifestyle and care services and programs to senior members of our community. Café Connect is located within Burnie Brae Centre and offers our members delicious food and coffee. We are looking for volunteers to assist us in the kitchen.

Some tasks may include directing and encouraging participants around the course, selling merchandise, and handing out participants' packs. There is even a role for the keen bike riders out there! We need volunteers on the day from 6.45 a.m. to approximately midday in various roles.

Some tasks may include directing and encouraging participants around the course, selling merchandise, and handing out participants' packs. There is even a role for the keen bike riders out there! We need volunteers on the day from 6.45 a.m. to approximately midday in various roles.

Assist in Thrift Shop, interacting with public, bagging purchases. Possibly ringing up sales and handling cash. During trading hours, the stock will need to be tidied. At least two individuals work in the shop each shift. The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9am till noon. Hours will be extended till 3pm on weekdays, if staffing permits. Shifts of either half day. Full day is negotiable
