We are seeking a passionate community member to join our dedicated Board of Governance. The Kingston Neighbourhood House (KNH) Board provides governance support to the Manager and staff of KNH to enable efficient operations. THE KNH Board is a group of professionals based in the Kingborough community and commit 1-2 hours per month for Board meetings and 1-2 hours per month for work on sub-committees or projects as they arise.

Are you passionate about recycling and helping people in need? We are looking for volunteers who can help educate the public as they make donations at our Sorting Warehouse. Sorting Warehouse Greeters are responsible for welcoming donors and other visitors as they approach the Sorting Warehouse in Brownells Lane and providing advice on donation suitability.

Hobart City Mission's Sorting Warehouse is the engine room for our Retail Op shops. Donated electrical items are sorted and sent out to stores for people to purchase, instead of sending them to landfill! Sold donations raise money to support Hobart's vulnerable community experiencing crisis.

We are looking for beauty demonstrators who are comfortable presenting to a small group of participants to help our participants face their cancer diagnosis with confidence. Our volunteers present skincare, makeup and head-wear workshops in Hobart, TAS. If you are comfortable presenting to our participants and love to help others, we need you! Look Good Feel Better is a free national community service program run by the Cancer Patients Foundation.

Red Nose Day is our headline fundraising campaign each year, raising funds to support the work of Red Nose in saving little lives and caring for bereaved families, and raising awareness for the cause. Merchandise stall holders collect cash and facilitate EFTPOS donations, and sell small merchandise. Support Red Nose funding vital programs and bereavement care services.
