Vinnies Canberra Goulburn has a diverse and dedicated workforce comprising of over 500 members, 1500 volunteers and 240 plus employees who work side by side serving those less fortunate in our communities. Vinnies Canberra/Goulburn runs a range of Youth programs to provide young people with a place of belonging and support, giving young people the opportunity to build social confidence and life-long resilience.

Any volunteer mechanics who would like to help us fix cars and train disadvantaged people in the skills to maintain a car would be appreciated. We have a car program where our program participants earn the chance to buy a fixed up car so they can undertake meaningful employment in the future.

This program aims to foster a sense of identity and belonging, empowering migrant and refugee children and young people to achieve their full potential. Children and young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds often face numerous challenges and complex transitions upon settling into Australia. However, children are resilient and they have strengths. We seek to focus on these strengths and ensure that the children achieve their full potential as active and engaged members of the community.

The Inclusive Volunteering Pathways to Employment Program supports those living with a disability or mental health condition to find volunteering roles where they can build skills, experience and networks to reach their employment goals. As an Outreach Leader Gold Coast you will have the opportunity to manage the delivery of outreach shifts to ensure they operate as scheduled in each of the Gold Coast location. This is an exceptional role providing the successful candidate to motivate and lead the outreach shift teams, to provide connection to vulnerable girls and women in our community. 6 - 10 hours per week

As 4 Voices VAN CARETAKER you are required to help maintain facilities and servicing of the outreach services van, including - ● Van maintenance, stocking of supplies and cleanliness ● Replenishing stock ● Facilitating Van services and repair
