We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers who can drive our truck (standard driver’s license) and lend a hand loading and transporting goods. As the Maintenance Support Volunteer, you will assist the Maintenance Officer to prepare homes for OARS clients which will include furniture deliveries and removals, with some basic maintenance duties required to provide a smooth transition for those entering new housing whilst being supported by the OARS accommodation team.

Drive a shower truck over designated routes in accordance with time schedules; to pick up and drop off staff/ Volunteers and participants in a safe and efficient manner. The Driver is responsible, along with the Food Hub Manager, for seeing to it that the shower truck is kept in good operating order. The driver must be a responsible person with a clean driving record and current Australian shower truck driver’s license.
