Modbury Hospital Guide Volunteers are based at the Hospital's main entrance and assist patients and visitors with directions to their destination. Guide Volunteers position suit someone who is interested in interacting with the public, able to deal with occasional stressful situations, and physically fit enough to stand and walk much of the shift. A Guide can be rostered Mon – Fri and shifts can vary from 4 hours to a full day. Training and induction are provided.

Guides are often the first face a visitor sees when entering the hospital and have the important role of greeting patients and visitors as they arrive.

Volunteers in this role provide support and guidance to the visitors and staff of the Modbury Hospital Outpatients Department by greeting patients on arrival and directing patients to the required area.

Our team based in Gilbert Street is seeking volunteer drivers for our mobile wardrobe vans to service scheduled across AnglicareSA and associated agency site locations including both metropolitan Adelaide and regional areas. We are looking for van drivers and people to attend site visits to distribute the clothing.
