Our Aim is to have Companion Volunteers pop into a variety of wards at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and provide some companionship to patients who may need someone other than staff to talk to or have someone to listen to them. Worn again is more than just an OPshop. We sell preloved goods for $3, $2, $1. We are a ministry of Citylight Church and not only serve the community by fulfilling in their physical needs, but also emotionally and spiritually.

We encourage our elders to participate and be engaged in activities where they can learn skills, socialize and participate in activities and events and enjoy other's company. Some residents like to have 1 on 1 or engage in activity groups suited for men. The opportunities are endless, if you have time and social skills we would love to have you share with us at Hope Valley.
