Warehouse food sorters needed! We need people to sort food to help the local community get the best possible food relief there is! We receive food that would otherwise go to landfill and sort it into fresh produce crates and deliver it out to local communities throughout Adelaide.

Do you like engaging with people and helping them find what they're looking for? Have you got some knowledge of building materials and goods used in building, renovating or decorating houses? If ‘yes’, then come and volunteer at ReStore for a few hours a week or fortnight. On the shop floor you will serve customers, provide counter sales, sort donations, price and restock the shop. ReStore is located at 102 Port Road, Alberton, open Monday to Saturday 9am – 4pm.

ReStore, Habitat for Humanity’s ‘op shop for building materials and furniture’, sells a range of items from large dining room tables and cupboards to the smallest tap washers and wood screws. All goods are generously donated by Adelaide businesses and individuals. We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers who can drive our truck (standard driver’s license) and lend a hand loading and transporting goods. Assistance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays particularly needed.

Well, Edwardstown Baptist Church (EBC) has a community centre where you are most welcome to volunteer & explore the various activities they have to find where you best fit. Whether its filling boxes with food for those in need, cooking, assisting in the op shop or taking care of the property, you will have people to work alongside & you will be supporting the community!

The WestCare Centre provides a free breakfast and low cost lunch to anyone needing a helping hand. Hundreds of South Australian's visit our WestCare Centre for food, shelter, support and advocacy. We provide a safe space for people experiencing homelessness to sit, chat, and share a meal with other community members. Volunteering in the kitchen allows you to learn food preparation skills, work as a team, and give back to those who need it most!

The Community Food Hub provides low cost essentials to individuals with a concession card, student card or ImmiCard. This includes pensioners, students and people experiencing homelessness. Volunteering in the Food Hub allows you to learn retail skills, work as a team, and give back to those who need it most!

Red Nose has embarked on an exciting project to deliver a new website to maximise the impact of our online presence. Red Nose is Australia’s leading authority on safe sleep and safer pregnancy advice as well as bereavement support for anyone affected by the loss of a pregnancy, stillbirth or the death of a baby or child. Search Engine Optimisation will be essential to ensuring that our content reaches the families who need it.

You will be responsible for creating weekly posts for our social media (currently Instagram and Facebook) as well as monthly posts to our WordPress website.
