Uniting provides door to door transport service to people who have no means of transport to medical appointments. We need reliable drivers to transport older people and those with disabilities or chronic medical conditions to and from health and medical appointments.

Assisting our local youth with barriers gain their drivers license by providing the opportunity to complete their required 50hrs of supervised driving hours.

Friendly and welcoming volunteer retail assistants are sought for our Op Shops. This role has a variety of duties including sorting, pricing, ironing and presentation of stock. Duties may also include cleaning of donated items for sale, as well as vacuuming and general cleaning/tidying of the shop. Opening Hours 8.30am - 2.30pm Monday - Friday Saturday - am potentially. Volunteers are required to help our aged care and retirement living clients participate in onsite lifestyle services such as Arts & Crafts, Games, Literacy Programs and Exercise Sessions. If you enjoy being with our Seniors and giving back to the community, this may suit you. Lunch Provided. 8.30am - 4 pm Monday - Friday. May offer required hours of volunteering if needed for mutual obligations. Days and times can be negotiated with the coordinator. (C)

A friendly, caring and skilled Volunteer Driver is required by Lutheran Services to drive our 20 seat bus to safely transport our residents on shopping trips and a variety of outings. An MR license is required. You must hold a clean current license and be able to provide the Medical Authority as required. Wednesday / Thursday outings one or two days per week. 8.30am - 2 pm. Lunch provided. (C)

Do you love gardening? Do you enjoy working with plants and would like to help maintain the gardens at our aged care facility? Gardening assistant are required to help with light garden maintenance and caring for the residents' small garden beds. (C)

Do you have some time to spare? We seek a volunteer driver to assist with pick up of donations of clothing and food. (C)
