Geraldton Historical Society is looking for Museum Assistant Volunteers for the Lighthouse Keepers Cottage Museum! The museum houses an extensive collection of historical photos, research & reference material, as well as displays of Heritage lifestyle objects regarding the history of the region. A Museum Asst. would Meet and Greet visitors, guide them through the society's rooms, be able to maintain the library & the museum and open the cottage timely. On the job training will be provided.

Flotsam Festival is a surf film and photography celebration of the Southern Gold Coast beach lifestyle from 1-12 May. Assistants required across various locations to set up and bump out.

Cinemallunga is a non for profit organisation providing Community Cinema events, show casing feature films, with the emphasis on fun & frivolity. Audience participation is highly encouraged. The shows take place every two months & moviegoers are encouraged to dress up, and get into the spirit of the “shenanigans” that go along with the movie’s theme. From stacking chairs to exotic dancing!! There is something for everyone.

We need people who knit, crochet or sew who would like to make items for us to sell in our shop. All the proceeds support hospital initiatives. This would largely be a role that you do in your home but we will show our gratitude by making you part of the volunteer family.

This role requires a well presented individual, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Full training and an introduction will be provided to the Museum exhibits. The Museum is open Monday to Saturday, with two guides or hosts working together. Volunteers must be vaccinated.
